The Site of Big Shoulders actively seeks individuals in the Chicago area to get involved on the staff in a variety of roles. These volunteer positions offer the opportunity to learn professional-level Web publishing, Internet marketing and arts management in a highly creative environment.
We work from both our Wicker Park-based office location and a virtual office environment. Regular production meetings and large planning meetings typically take place on Thursday evenings, and ad hoc production sessions take place throughout the week.
We are an all-volunteer staff and as such, we enjoy working conditions where commitment can match availability, and where shared learning and fun is part of an unfettered publishing environment.
