Rally Chicago   photographs by Jake Eldridge

This country was founded on the free exchange of ideas. Nonetheless, on Saturday March 24th in federal plaza the only free flow of communication was charged with rancor. The two opposing sides stared each other down separated by steel barricades and a line of police. Few involved were concerned with the opposing point of view. The media ate this up like fresh warm honey. Cameramen, photographers and reporters were there waiting for anger to boil over. Suspense built as the day grew but in the end not a single blow was thrown.
