"We actually held our Around the Coyote event there in 2005," said Publisher Justin Kerr.  "It's a great multi-use location that offers proximity to a bustling, arts-friendly neighborhood and nearby public transportation."

In addition to regular Thursday-night meetings and production sessions, The Space of Big Shoulders serves as the main location for occasional and ongoing events hosted by The Site of Big Shoulders. These events have included "See SOBS," a September 2008 gallery exhibition featuring the work of staff members, and "Brave New World," which showcased the works of Chicago artists Ivan Watkins and Jeff Zimmerman.

The Space of Big Shoulders is located at 1543 N. Milwaukee Avenue, above the Eye Want eyeglass store in the bustling Wicker Park commercial district. Close proximity to the Damen stop on the Blue Line El and nearby bus routes on North, Damen and Milwaukee avenues make it easy for staff members and others to get to the location, Kerr said.
